Hola!
This week has been pretty amazing a little crazy but really good. Easter was on Sunday (which you know of course). Sacrament was fantastic, our sacrament meetings are always on one of the 4 principles of the gospel this week was the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. Brother and Sister Willes spoke and mainly focused on enduring to the end but they talked about the atonement in the mean time too. I could really feel the spirit through out the day as I tried my hardest to remember what day it was and the importance of not only the atonement but the resurrection. It's such a blessing to know that because of what Christ did I can be forgiven of my sins, and be perfected in him so that I can live with my father again once more. It's also great to think of the resurrection and know that we ALL have that gift and will have perfected bodies. I love my brother Jesus Christ so much. Saturday night Hermana Verwer has us write a letter she specifically said to think of him as our brother and to write to him as such. Later on Sunday I had a little interview with Bro. Willes just a little update interview to see how everything is going. It was so great. While we were talking the spirit told him things about me and my character that he later shared with me. He hit it right on the head. He gave me some really great compliments and I loved it so much.
Our fireside Sunday night was by Stephen B. Allen (again). He showed us a lot of different little mormon commercials with one liners at the end. One of them ended with "sharing is the icing on the cake" I just about cried as I remembered how I used to be called the icing on the cake in our family. At the fireside the musical number was an Elder from Hungary that played the organ. I think he was just showing off. jk. He was SOOO good though. After he finished Stephen B. Allen asked him if he knew another song and asked him to play it. The first verse of the song was played with just the pedals. It was so crazy. He got a standing ovation afterwards.
I met an Elder that's from Santiago and we just talked for a little bit. It was such a cool experience. He doesn't know much english and I don't know much spanish but we were able to communicate and have a full conversation. He told me some things about Santiago, especially the mountains :) and it made me so excited to get down there.
Sister Beus and Sister Holland are leaving today in about 20 minutes actually. I love them and I'm going to miss them. I plan on writing them still and hopefully when we all get home we can get together and share experiences.
Since Monday there have been so many changes to the MTC. Everyones schedule changed. Someone came into our room and explained as like changing the schedule for a whole city. That's the best way to describe it. I think I actually like it a lot more though, I have a lot more time for personal study which I really like. All of my time is scheduled and planned out it may not sound too great but it really is. They are also remodeling the kitchen (not the cafeteria) so half of the kitchen is closed and we only have like one or two options of what to eat for each meal. Luckily I have a lot of food stocked up in my room. My district got a new teacher, Hermano Bielamowicz. We just call him Hermano B. He used to teach another district in our zone. So I no longer have Hermana Verwer, I miss her but I'm really liking Hermano B. I love his way of teaching it's totally different but he gets us to really think as he asks a lot of simple questions looked for in depth answers.
Last night I was writing in my journal and I took my name tag off and put it in front of me. I looked at it and I was just SO HAPPY. I loved seeing it. I love what I'm doing and who I'm doing it for.
Until next week.
I love you all.
